Welcome to my personal web site!

Hi!! My name's Midian, and I'm a 21-year-old transfem (she/her) goat furry, a massive computer nerd, and hoarder of old things. I also love games — both physical and digital — as well as Lego. Image editing/graphic design, as well as photography (especially with '90s digital cameras) are also massive interests of mine. Anyway! Please do look around, and I hope you enjoy my assorted ramblings! ^w^

Here're some disclaimers/warnings/general information:

  • This web site is perpetually under construction.
  • The image quality of everything on this site is really bad. I've crunched everything down to stupidly small resolutions with the default 256-colour VGA palette, because I'm an abomination.
  • The written quality of everything is just as bad; I didn't realise until making this site that I use "stuff" way, way too much.
  • Any source code I publish comes with absolutely no warranty. Anything you decide to run on your own machine is your own responsibility. Feel free to use and modify anything of mine though. FOSS for the win!!!
  • I'll swear a lot and may also talk about mature stuff, and as such, this site is only intended for those of 18 years of age or older.
  • I am also extraordinarily queer, so if you have any problem with that or anything else I've mentioned about myself, then please fuck off. :)

Anyway, with that stuff in mind, feel free to look around! Everything's organised into categories (the hyperlinks on the navigation bar with an ellipsis) where you can find specific subjects (also on the navigation bar, without an ellipsis). Once there, simply click on the icon for the place you want to go!

None of the links actually lead to anything significant! This is because I've literally just rolled out the site, so gimme some time to get writing!! Should hopefully have at least one thingy for each subject before February, so make sure to check in often. :3

Here's a vague list of things I wanna do with the site:

  • Write at least one entry for each subject.
  • Replace the placeholder graphics (the banners are final).
  • Replace the short placeholder text with actual text.
  • Screen reader compatibility.
  • Continue refusing to learn a single thing about JavaScript. I'm really good at this. B)
  • Absolutely inundate the navigation bar with badges, stamps, and buttons.
  • If I find some bangin' MIDI tunes I might add them. They'd be fitting cos, y'know, the name.
  • Add an address book and fit it in somewhere (will likely require JS qwq).

01-01-2025: Happy New Year! I almost forgot to say lol. Btw, next thing planned for the site is probably going to be adding actual subjects to Personal Stuff, but I'll have to work on it when I wake up.

31-12-2024: The site's no longer a placeholder and I'm quite happy with how it now looks! All that's left is to write the content. I also managed to actually roll it out just before the end of the year. Literally a matter of hours in the single digits for me.

If you notice any issues, no matter how small, please notify me! I'll appreciate it a lot. <3

This site is best viewed with a resolution of 1024×768 on Firefox 2.0. It still looks (mostly) fine in 640×480 on Netscape Communicator 4.03 though, as long as you're happy to do a lot of horizontal scrolling.
Text-based browsers like Lynx should handle the site perfectly fine as well.
